Image Resizer ("we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile application that allows users to select, compress, preview, and save images on their devices.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and what choices you have when using the app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the app, process purchases, support advertising for free users, and improve reliability.
A. Images and Media You Select
When you choose images from your device:
- the app accesses only the images you select or allow us to access
- selected images may be temporarily processed or cached on your device
- compressed images may be saved back to your device gallery if you choose to save them
We do not sell your images.
We do not intentionally upload your selected images to our servers for image compression as part of the core image optimization flow.
B. Purchase and Subscription Information
If you purchase premium access, we use RevenueCat and the relevant app store provider, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, to manage purchases, entitlements, restore purchases, and related transaction status.
We may receive information such as:
- purchase status
- entitlement status
- anonymous app user identifier or purchaser identifier assigned by RevenueCat or the platform
- product identifiers
- store transaction metadata made available to us through RevenueCat
We do not receive your full payment card details. Payments are processed by the applicable app marketplace.
C. Advertising Data
If you use the free version of the app, we may display ads through Google AdMob or other advertising partners we may add in the future.
Advertising providers may collect or receive information such as:
- device identifiers
- advertising identifiers
- approximate device and network information
- ad interactions, impressions, clicks, and reward events
- diagnostic and performance information
This information may be used by the advertising provider to serve, measure, personalize, or limit advertising as permitted by applicable law and platform rules.
D. Device, Diagnostics, and Usage Data
We may collect limited technical information to keep the app functioning and to diagnose crashes or errors, including:
- app version
- device type
- operating system version
- crash logs
- performance data
- basic app event data related to purchases, ads, or image processing errors
E. Permissions
Depending on your device and how you use the app, we may request access to:
- photos or media library, to let you pick images and save optimized images
- network access, to support purchases, ads, and app functionality
- vibration or haptics, to improve user experience
We request permissions only when needed for app features.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- let you select, optimize, preview, and save images
- provide premium access and restore purchases
- display ads to free users
- measure ad delivery and reward completion
- detect bugs, crashes, abuse, and technical problems
- improve app performance, stability, and user experience
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3. How Images Are Processed
Image processing is intended to occur locally on your device as part of the app's core optimization workflow.
Temporary files may be created on your device during processing, previewing, exporting, or saving. These files may remain in device or app cache storage until removed by the app, the operating system, or by uninstalling the app.
You are responsible for reviewing images before saving, sharing, or deleting them.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party service providers that process limited data on our behalf or as independent controllers/processors under their own terms and privacy policies.
These may include:
- RevenueCat, for purchase and entitlement management
- Google Play Billing and/or Apple App Store, for payment processing and transaction handling
- Google AdMob, for advertising and rewarded ads
- crash, analytics, or performance providers if integrated in the app
Your use of purchases, advertising, and related services may also be subject to those third parties' privacy practices and terms.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract, including providing app features you request
- legitimate interests, including app security, fraud prevention, debugging, and service improvement
- consent, where required for permissions, tracking, or certain advertising activities
- compliance with legal obligations
6. Advertising and Consent
For free users, the app may show ads, including rewarded ads shown before or during certain free features.
Where required by law, we may ask for consent before showing personalized advertising or before sharing data for advertising purposes.
If consent is required and not granted, we may show non-personalized ads, limit advertising features, or allow certain functionality without ads where technically necessary.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term.

Local image files and cached processed files may remain on your device until removed by you, the app, or the operating system.

However, no method of storage, transmission, or electronic processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

- correct inaccurate information
- delete personal information
- object to or restrict certain processing
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Third-party providers we use may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, those providers are responsible for using appropriate safeguards for international data transfers under applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and, where required, provide additional notice inside the app or through other appropriate means.
Your continued use of the app after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Store-Specific Notes
Premium purchases are handled by the relevant app marketplace and RevenueCat. Subscription or lifetime purchase availability, pricing, billing terms, refunds, and renewals are governed by the applicable marketplace rules and your purchase terms shown at checkout.
Free users may be required to watch an ad before accessing certain export or save functionality. Premium users receive an ad-free experience.
